Lamentations 3:22-26 NIV. 22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will wait for him.”25 The Lord is good to those who hope in him; 26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

Absolutely nothing should tear us down or tie us up. This verse specifically states that God’s ‘mercies’ never ‘cease’ or run out we can depend on Him fully and completely for everything and anything we ever need He is our provider. Hope, in the Lord. Wait patiently, quietly and trust Him. Salvation is God’s gift and we shall receive it – Jeremiah says “The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will wait for him.” Is God your portion? just like Jeremiah in Lamentations, he has placed his hope in the Lord. Are you?

It is good to find hope in the Lord, because He is God, He provides the ultimate salvation for all. His mercies never cease. He is faithful. He is compassionate. God is good. God is a loving God. To find true love is to find God and to be shown true love is to be loving to another person out of kindness, actions of love. God’s action of love in this scripture is that we are not consumed because of the Lord’s great love He won’t allow it. His compassions never fail and His mercies He hands over to us every morning, each new day we are greeted with another merciful gift from God, the moment our eyes open, what a blessing to receive such love from God.

In these moments don’t search for answers out there in the world, search for God, be available to Him, allow Him to be your portion, place your hope in Him. Salvation is just around the corner, I believe in God and trust Him, He will bless beyond measure, God will make new things beautiful, (meaning things our eyes haven’t even seen before He will reveal to us), God’s revival is coming…

Who’s, side are you on? I believe you got three choices…

#1 God’s side – This is where life begins, love springs up, peace and calming thoughts renew your mind and you know your safe because God is in control and you don’t have to be, you are claimed as you are and treasured by the Lord immeasurably loved.

#2 Your side – this is where nothing changes things stay the same and you get stuck, doing your own things, going your own way, but left searching, being unfulfilled.

#3 The enemy’s side – this is where chaos takes over and everything is in overdrive, rushed actions spinning you out of control, wrong choices and terrible decisions begin killing you from the inside out, darkness flooding in slowly drowning out any light and you are so stressed you start to die a slow death.

If you answered #1 - Ding, Ding, Ding…. Correct answer, I celebrate your correct choice because your future is in the Lords hand, your journey will be blessed, your eternity in Heaven awaits and God is your portion.

Jeremiah finds his portion in the Lord and never wavered, he continually pursed God in the midst of everything going on around him and when he thought he himself insufficient to carry out tasks the Lord asked of him to do Jeremiah placed his hope in the Lord and persevered. When your portion is found in the Lord you can be carried through hardships as well.

Lord I pray a blessing upon Your people. I pray Lord that You become their portion and they find You as their hope. I pray that Jeremiah’s example is not lost, we to can pursue You no matter what is happening in our lives, or around us. I thank You Lord for awaking a desire to carry out Your Will in our lives, strengthen those who need strength, heal those who need healing, I call upon Your Holy name Lord to carry out Your promises for they are yes and amen. In Jesus name, Amen.

When you say God is leading you but you don’t give up the reins, you still have control. When you hand over the reins and allow God to take over completely, you’ll be amazed at how much farther you can go...
