You’ll Never Measure Up

Today the world is so full of many obstacles and even more so on what’s acceptable and what’s not, what draws attention and what doesn’t. But really what kind of attention do you want to draw to yourself. You want to just fit in to fit in (losing yourself throughout the process) or you want to be accepted and noticed. (But how through the worlds view of being accepted or by what is truly appropriate)? (But what is?) These can be dangerous grounds especially for young girls. When you draw attention to yourself the wrong set of eyes could be noticing, and will be watching you.

Causes of the wrong kind of attention happens when dressing in revealing clothes, body language one puts out there to be noticed and facial expressions all can become cause for a lurking male. When putting you out there it’s unsafe and dangerous grounds for you to be taken advantage of.

This world pressures all people influencing young girls to be accepted as the world views standards of being good enough instead of what is right. So here’s the truth YOU’LL NEVER MEASURE UP IN TODAY’S WORLDLY STANDARDS there’s always someone better, faster, more intelligent, prettier and really it comes down to how far are we all willing to go to be accepted, measuring up in this day and age is impossible, you work hard and get to the top to gain a reward for best (whatever) just to turn around and someone else passes you, someone else’s judgment of how good you are stamps you with your not good enough, you don’t measure up and you become crushed, defeated, down and depressed and guess what that’s exactly where the enemy wants you to be. But there is a Victor a Savior.

The only way in this world where we are completely successful is in the Kingdom of our Almighty God. The only way we ALWAYS measure up we ALWAYS are enough we are ALWAYS accepted just the way we are, fearfully and wonderfully made. Beauty comes from within and the beauty we carry is from God.

A huge lesson in life is to learn this right now young so you don’t have to fight with the lies of the enemy that he runs wild over our minds with, the ones you believe you become defeated, so believe what God is…LOVE. So you can believe what’s inside yourself and truly know that you matter and you are enough always under our Heavenly Fathers wings where He covers us.

God uses people, and so does the enemy, how do you want to measure up?

Remember doing for God is the only job where we will find true satisfaction, fulfillment and acceptance. So no matter what your day consists of do it with God, whether you’re at school, work or going to bed at night pray and ask God to be there with you asking him to guide you and keep you, and listen for the good things God tells you, about you, and believe them, tell yourself your good enough trust the promises God instills in the book of truth, and pray blessings upon others.

We measure up in God.

1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Psalm 121:7&8 The Lord will keep you from all harm He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Psalm 91:4 NLT He will cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

*Side note this message is for you dads who have daughters that you can pray over them and teach them how to portray beauty in conservative ways, speak love into their lives so they now there valued and worthy of love, cause believe me feeling unwanted you’ll try anything to fit in and sometimes that involves unsafe situations and unhealthy environments, so keep your daughters safe reflecting through you God’s love to your daughters. Young men you can pray God keeps you from being a lurking male and you’re also protected from the enemy’s tactics, be a gentlemen the way God is and trust him to guide your choices and pray for your friends to not be deceived.

Romans 2:11 For God does not show favoritism.

Romans 8:31 What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us who can be against us. (obviously the enemy).

Proverbs 2:10-12 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. Wisdom will save you from the ways of the wicked men, from men whose words are perverse.
