Worship…

What is worship?

Worship is every moment in our every day in reverence to our Lord honoring Him with our days, by keeping in close connection with Him always.

Worship at church is partnering with other believers and focusing on our Heavenly Father, honoring Him with our whole self.

Worship on a team is humbly surrendering yourself to be a vessel for the Lord to flow through while Holy Spirit partners us with Heavens Angels, its never about us its always about honoring our Lord, blessing Him with the gifts He has given to us and us giving them back to Him, so we can be utilized His way for His glory.

David worshipped with new songs and with all kinds of instruments this example is not far off from where we need to be whole heartedly worship our Heaven Father always and in new heart depth with honesty and truth. Psalm 144:9&10 I will sing a new song to you, O God; on the ten-stringed lyre I will make music to you, to the one who gives victory to kings, who delivers his servant David from the deadly sword.

Jesus worshipped the Lord with Himself, He gave everything He had to worship God, always meeting Him in quiet moments honestly seeking His Will and desire for His life not Jesus’ Will and walk but Gods. Matthew 26:39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

Salomon worshipped the Lord in complete reverence by responding to God in an honorable way – knowing he could have anything his hearts desire money, fame, and more he asked God for wisdom and the Lord blessed him in his worship and after blessed him in every area of his life with riches and more. 1 Kings 3:9 So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?

Job worshipped the Lord by not ever faulting God and His name and desire for his life after all was taken from Job, he could have thrown his hands up and been done with the Lord and all that happened may have seemed like an ok reason to quit but he never he surrendered himself in worship to God by staying the course the Lod had for his life and was abundantly repaid. Job 42:10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before.

See worship is not just singing songs its honoring God, revering God being humble in the knowing of all He is to be glorified for the love He has for us should be enough for us to worship Him day to day in every moment but we don’t we get caught up in our own to do’s but imagine what your life would look like if we revered the Lord the way these brothers before us carried themselves during their walk with the Lord in constant connection with God even in mishaps bad or wrong choices David turned to God, Jesus even thought, He wanted the Lord to take the cup from Him He stood the course and followed through meeting with God along the way and Job could have been turned off at any time but he honored God still in worship.

My worship is remembering God at all times the good and the bad and in all the moments where I try to lead my own life I repent and thank Him for always loving me not matter, I sing new songs from my heart to honor Him I practice worship so I can please Him, I worship with my writing and credit Him for it is His Will I want for my life too, I pray and this is worship, I stand in awe of Him counting my blessings and this is too worship, He is worthy of all our thoughts.

Heavenly Father thank You for instilling worship in us. I pray we will understand more of how we can worship you day to day and look to you for our every move, I pray for an extension of Your love so we can worship deeper  and know al moments belong to You, for Your Kingdom come Your Will be done, I surrender myself to you as an open vessel help me hear from Heaven clearer than ever before for I am yours, I pray this for all Your Saints as well that we constantly connect with You cause Your all that matters for our lives. I am so excited for what’s next help me be patient while You work all things out, I am Yours, Bless all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.

John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in spirit and truth.
