Waltz…

I recognize my relationship with the Lord has always resembled somewhat of a slow dance, a waltz type sway in the sense that there are lifts and turns, swirls and dips, a forward motion being constantly led by my Heavenly Father’s hand, as I am shifted this way and that way in a subtle manner. I am Cinderella at the ball dancing with her Prince but in this case, I am being wooed by the ultimate love giver and embraced in an even deeper connection of a perfect matched partner, the lover of my Soul, and it gets better He has encaptivated me in such a meaningful way there are no words to display His compassion about me and the ever-extended love He has for me.

In the waltz people dance together in such a way with the Lord it becomes their own style as it should be, no one can relate or replicate exactly because we embrace God in our own love way and He entitles us to His love, special and proper to each individual and to each individuals need.

I write for the Lord as an enjoyment to find out more about Him… How He talks to me, and how He walks with me, how He motions me to go in the right directions, it’s like that of a lover’s dance. He leads me on still waters, swaying me this way and pulls me in close to lead me another way. He caresses my cheek with the gentle stroke of His mighty hand and woos me with sweet whispers only I understand, it’s a love language Him and I speak together whenever we meet. As He lifts me way above the sky, I float as though I am a feather, tenderly embraced in His soft loving arms, I’m safe so I close my eyes then I am awakened by His kiss upon my face so delicately placed my heart melts in awe of His grace upon me and I let go of all surrounding me and trust His ever giving outpouring of attention He has not blinked an eye holding true to loving me fully, He has never wavered His excitement upon me, His ever flowing tenderness He comforts me with ease and peace behold my Father’s hand extents always while in wait for me to grab or while in patience to exuberate His love more deeply towards me He waits but how can love flow so deep as the one He desires turns their cheek, I say to you above all is God, the One and only we shall call, don’t be misplaced while residing here on Earth come to our Heavenly lover of our Soul, whom cannot help but love you like you hardly know, its constant and true, noble and pure, His love never fails, awake and know this love dance is yours too, I hear Him say everyone will be tenderly embraced in the Father’s love, all who come, all who come.

With lifts and turns, bends and leaps, jumps and twirls as the waltz repeats, during my walk with the Lord it has been much the same, I have gone through ups and downs, struggles and pleas, it has not been a constant walk in the park gazing at the pretty flowers, passing by birds singing, as we whistle along, skipping down the path like a child who has just received an ice-cream cone that is now dripping down their hand, it goes unnoticed because they are full in the moment of enjoyment, a peaceful sense of their belonging and not a care in the world. It may not always be that we are in a sense of okay freedom and peace but do NOTE this, God is. Where your treasure is, there your heart will also be.

Grab ahold of your dance partner and allow Him to lead you in the ‘Waltz’ of your life.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your guidance in my life I am in awe of You and the way You have carried me through tough times in my life and the way You help me step over obstacles standing in my way. I pray others sense Your leading more fully and completely and that nothing goes unnoticed to what You have for us to help advance Your kingdom. I pray sensible hearts are manifested and I pray other’s will grasp Your hand to attend a love waltz with You leading them in deep love to carry out Your desires, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalm 24:1 NLT. The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.
