Undeserving…

As people, we think we are undeserving of a lot of things and we even set ourselves up this way, many times deem ourselves and title ourselves in a category that we don’t deserve this or that and sometimes the truth be told we don’t but when Jesus died on the Cross even though many of us if not all of us were undeserving, God thought us deserving and Jesus pursued the cross for us. As undeserving as we may be God has the final word, with mercies new every morning God so loves us as to count us deserving.

This is a stand-up reminder of God’s love for His people, all of us. We think we don’t deserve a second chance but God says yes. God has provided the ultimate gift of salvation for all and for all of us to be beside Him for all eternity, we need only to stop counting ourselves short of what Jesus has done for us and count ourselves deserving of Gods gracious love and accept a selfless price paid for our Souls.

Hallelujah – once we have invited Jesus into our hearts we no longer have to worry about aimlessly walking lost in our own ways because we have been found in the Fathers love all along, we just never knew it but when we accept Jesus as Lord over our lives we are awakened to that fact and that we belong to God and always have, His love endures forever and we are now a new creation. Leave all that’s behind there for God renews us in His abounding grace.

We don’t all meet our Lord and Savior at the same time. When I met Jesus I had reservations and was very hesitant to fully surrender and dive into becoming a complete follower of Christ but as years passed my relationship grew with God as I began to invite Him into more and more of my life and eventually the little corners where I’d never want anybody to shine a light ever – in those dark ways of an ashamed self aimlessly lost and running from life, getting caught up in troubled times. Jesus became my freedom, Gods love poured over me bringing me new life and the right way to live, I truly acknowledge I am deserving. Are You?

I think sometimes we forget how important we are to God and we need to start realizing it. We need to cast out the lies and believe Gods truth. We need to focus on what is right and stop reflecting on what is wrong. We need to rise up and rise above our old ways and actions and we need to start standing strong knowing God has us by the right hand and since Jesus sits to the right side of God we are in good hands.

We are powerful through Gods Word spoken as the Sword of the Spirit we are untouchable to an already fallen enemy and we have the ability to stay upright when we follow our Saviors leading our Holy Spirits voice and Gods almighty direction. Remember we belong to God.

Ephesians 2:1-10 NLT. 1 Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. 2 You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil-the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. 3 All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature, by our very nature we are subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else. 4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. 7 So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. 8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God’s master-piece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Heavenly Father Thank You for Jesus making a way for all of us counting us as deserving to allow Jesus to take our places and express Your love in the deepest way ever possible. Help us Lord to invite You into our lives even in the spaces we wouldn’t allow anyone to go help us to gain strength to allow You in so we can surrender completely knowing Your all we ever need and You’re the only One who can set us free and save us. Help us walk upright and stand true through Your Word, Your gift of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ our Precious Savior. Lord equip us and lead us in the ways You want us to go. Lord I pray Your Word is deeply planted within me on Your fertile soil so that when I speak encouragement to others Lord it never dries out, allow Your Scripture Lord to be the focus on my lips for Your glory.
