Troop to Tribe…

It’s a great honor to serve the Lord…

Luke 6:13 NIV. When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles.

Disciples / Troops renamed by Jesus as Apostles / Tribes. They completed their discipleship and now have upgraded or graduated to Apostleship a title given when they learned the discipling ways and now hold the name Apostle.

Disciple as we disciple someone means follower of a teacher, leader, being a student, in this case they were students of Jesus, troops.

Apostle means all important Christian teacher or messenger. (Paul) Apostle is something to acquire, or you will eventually acquire after you have been discipled and become ready to disciple others as you were taught, by another person who is teaching God’s truth, through His Word of Scripture, to enhance the kingdom of God and bring all glory to Him, you will become a Tribe leader - Apostle.

The Discipleship training will take as long as it takes. The more you obey God the faster it may be for you to graduate into the Apostleship position. Troop / Disciple turned Tribe / Apostle is totally up to you.

You can place slow moving vehicle on me because even though I have known the Lord now for almost twenty years I was not moving very fast into all He had for me. Now a days what we are facing day to day, we need to be catapulted into the next Will God has for your life, otherwise we will get lost, or even backslide and that isn’t fun. (I know, I have done this so many times, gain momentum only to slide back even further behind, like one step forward – ten steps back).

As you dive into the Word with Holy Spirit guiding you every step of the way, you will be able to learn all about your purpose and what God has in store for you. Once you were a Troop being Discipled by someone else, now you’re leaping into Apostleship and are a Tribe leader to those around you.

2 Peter 1:21 NIV. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

While you are a Troop becoming equipped as a Tribe leader everyone has to start somewhere but we do all need to know where we are going taking on these tasks led by the Lord – if you are still Discipling as a Troop remember one is not above the other, this is encouragement that your next step as a Tribe leader ‘Apostle’ is your focus, we don’t all want to stay baby Christians our whole life this side of Heaven, sometimes it takes a stake of bravery to step forward into the next season and your goal should be to graduate into Apostleship / Tribe.

This is where you step out from among all those following the Lord as Disciples and now having been trained into an Apostle you are now developed into your specific purpose and Tribe. You won’t find your true unique purpose made only for you if you don’t venture off with the Lord on your own.

* Note we still need one another to pray with standing on promises together, encouraging one another, and simply being there for each-other…etcetera, but please hear this the Lord knows best and He’s the only one that can truly determine your true identity in Him.

Your Apostleship is important to advance the Kingdom of God, through His ‘Truth’.

Jude 1:20 & 21 NIV. 20 But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. 21 Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Heavenly Father, I pray those reading this message are encouraged, and as they go through their Discipleship with You, they are led by peace and a sense of notion into their true purpose You have for them, to advance Your Kingdom. I pray Lord that when they become Tribe leaders, they are completely led by You for all glory is Yours. I pray we all hear Holy Spirit clearly to make good decisions and wise choices since You provide true knowledge and wisdom help us in all ways. I pray that as you step out of your own comfort zone walking as Disciples you are catapulted into the Will God has for You as Apostles to ignite the Kingdom of God here on Earth, as it is in Heaven. Thank You Lord for always having patience with me and helping me to eventually discover my true self in You, I’m thankful walking with You as Your daughter, thank You for choosing me, I love You Lord. Plead the Precious Blood of Jesus over all Your people as they also walk with You, in Jesus, name Amen.
