Thin ice…

Are you walking on thin ice and that path happens to be your path of life?

Why not change your foundation… to a stable and firm placement so you don’t fall through the ice?

As we go through life some-times we find ourselves just going through the motions and others hustle around like a chicken with their head cut off, but where’s the balance. Well, when we line ourselves up with the Word of God and trust our Creator we gain the right knowledge and wisdom in the way we should go, and importantly enough when we dive into the scriptures written in the Bible for us to move through life on a good path we are refreshed and renewed with the Bread of Life to equip us and through the pages of scriptures we are guided on our rightful way. In Proverbs 2 it is written with perfection the benefits of wisdom. Proverbs 2:1-15 NLT. 1 My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my commands. 2 Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. 3 Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. 4 Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. 5 Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God. 6 for the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. 8 He guards the path of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. 9 Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. 10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. 11 Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe. 12 Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted. 13 These men turn form the right way to walk down dark paths. 14 They take pleasure in doing wrong, and they enjoy the twisted ways of evil. 15 Their actions are crocked and their ways are wrong.

Need I say more this Proverb goes into get descriptive detail and warns how we should go about our lives and fearing the Lord is the first step.

Lord I pray this will speak to Your people the way You have brought it to speak to me with not only warnings but that they see Your loving Word and deeply plant it within their hearts. I pray Lord that we will treasure what You teach us and when we come to You asking for understanding that that is what You give us. I pray You give what we need to carry through the endeavors of life this side of Heaven until we meet with You face to face. I thank You Lord for Your knowledge, Your wisdom and Your understanding, with love. In Jesus name, Amen
