The Chase Is On…

The other day I called out to God that I want to be so unstoppable for what He has for me that any time the enemy comes at me that his voice is so muffled I can’t even understand what he’s even trying to say, that his voice is so faded that the only way I can make out what he was saying to me or even hear what lie he has to tell me is if I focused hard on it but since my focus is on my Redeemer, my Savior, the Lover of my soul and not the destroyer, I won’t even hear a thing. (I’m not listening.) You see I am craving a connection with my Heavenly Father so unshakable that nothing - the enemy thinks he can say to me can stop me. Well when you pray a prayer like this be ready.

I realized that while the enemy has a chase on you means you have a godly call on your life a power so strong the enemy wants nothing more than to keep you away from all God has for you, the bigger the chase the more power you have got, so keep the enemy from knocking you off track. I’m here to tell you when the going gets tough fight your way through with your Heavenly Fathers strength, be untouchable to the enemy and when you find yourself in a mess or day gone wrong situation you can always refocus. God isn’t going to let you down or leave you a wanderer just call out Jesus name and you’ll get back on track.

We will never be left alone by the enemy cause his only mission is to keep us off of Gods will for your life he will try everything and anything. I felt this post is important because if you know nothing about your opponent the one your up against then you will have no way of knowing how to overcome the lies and tricks he plays. (Warning this isn’t an invite for him, its simply a strategy, so we don’t need to keep focusing on the enemy we just need to be aware of how he works. Our ultimate focus is our Lord.)

The things we struggle with are his way in, if we allow it. Example…

Years ago, I struggled with anxiety and panic attacks, they were so bad I felt like I was having heart attacks, I was even taken in ambulance to the emergency, I was put on medication for the panic attacks so they wouldn’t result in the anxiousness of forming a feeling of another heart attack, they were scary and this kept me from leaving my home. I was bound to my house and isolated I’d stay away from others because I couldn’t bring myself to get a handle on it and really just normal life things were a huge challenge that brought on huge attacks, they gripped me, and stopped me from living life.

Eventually I nestled in to the Word of God and promises of scripture to help me out of this gorge and my depleted life. (God provides all our needs). If you have experienced anxiety or panic attacks in your life you know where I am coming from, if you still are experiencing the attacks, get in the Word of God and speak the truth over yourself, get help, or have someone pray over you, turn your worship music on and rest in His loving arms. I promise, you can make it through this. I haven’t had the medication help me for a long time now, I have overcome this obstacle through Jesus, and I know you can to. I hadn’t had these attacks in years and faced the trouble of an attack a few weeks ago, BUT this time I knew what to do sooner than the first bout of anxiety so I was able to refocus quicker then allowing these attacks to take me down and keep me down. I realized what was happening, asked for prayer (someone to be a warrior with me through this battle), I stood on God’s promise’s and worshiped in Jesus name, because Jesus name is above every name. Philippians 2:9 & 10 NIV Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every other name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under earth.

Don’t stop when the chase is on, looking back will only cause you to trip over your own feet allowing the enemy to trick you away from moving ahead, keep your focus forward to what God has for you even when its hard and the enemy is constantly trying to keep you away from an awesome life God has for you. Rise above the enemy, boldly pray, be confident that God is the only way, for that is true God is the way.
