I am created by God and for God alone. I have not been sent by man, therefore as a vessel I enjoy spreading God’s fragrance of life.

2 Corinthians 2:14-17 NIV. 14 But thanks be to be God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. 15 For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those perishing. 16 To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? 17 Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God.

I find this scripture absolutely beautiful it encourages me to keep going on with the Lord and obey His commands for I am part of spreading His sweet fragrance and when I think of Gods aroma, I melt even more into His presence.

I do not share for my profit, for I am only a vessel, open and available to walk Gods Will to encourage others to continue also on their walk with the Lord, although sometimes while sharing Gods encouraging words they uplift and encourage me as well, even when I look back on some of my writing; whether a blog, poem, or book I am reminded that the written words God lays upon my heart to share with others invites me back into a place of knowledge and the words God has given me deepens further into my Soul and their roots are strengthened even more than they were the first time I heard, wrote, or read them.

This scripture also reminds me that even those who are perishing or ones who do not accept the Lord it is not on me that the fragrance may not be sweet to them that when they invite God into their hearts and lives the aroma of God is sweet and the words we share with those who are not on the same page it is only God that can woo them, I am not the decider, or the changer. God is the only one who can soften hearts to the sweet perfume of Christ and our knowledge that spreads the fragrance to everyone around us, I encourage do not give up eventually those around will pick up the scent and the aroma will fill them with love and joy to accepting Christ into their lives. I believe people around us will wonder where the sweet fragrance is coming from and God will become their Savior for their lives as He has for me.

Lord I thank You for blessing me with Your love, I pray the sweet fragrance You have poured over me will spread and when I pass by those who know You they are rejuvenated and those who don’t I pray that they will catch a lovely whiff of Your beautiful scent, that Your Heavenly perfume will fill them up anew and their hearts will turn to You. As I continue on our journey Lord keep filling me overflowing afresh each and everyday so that Your scent does not fade away. Awaken those around me to pick up Your sweet scent, your love fragrance of peace and solitude, joy, renewing, freedom, blessings, grace and mercy. I pray a deepening for those of us who know You that we are newly aware of your presence and strengthened into an even tighter anchor with You than ever before. Lord I love You and bless You, Lord, keep me safe and revive areas in my heart that have settled those areas that have turned dim in following You, reignite every ‘Scripture Word’ I have ever read or heard I am asking for a renewal of Your Word of Truth to be more clear and readily available on the tip of my tongue. I thank You for all the knowledge and wisdom thus far Lord but I crave more and only as Your vessel ask for Your equipping abilities to take a leap with You more deeply than ever before, led by peace in our awaiting journey, I trust You to carry me when I cannot stand on my own two feet, I trust You with the words coming out of my mouth that are Yours I speak and I love you, in Jesus name, Amen.
