Powered by God.

For a couple of nights, I had been having a really hard time getting any sleep. One morning after no sleep I found I was so groggy and TIRED… One of the days I recall being unable to function properly at all; not making sense, slurring my words and just absolutely drained. I was in a dazed-mindset of fuzziness and struggling big time.

Ever been there???

I was trying to get our kids off to school in the morning, when my daughter says to me. “Mom how bout’ I just stay home and take care of you today”. I thought that was special and told her it’s okay, I’ll be okay. (In my mind I was already calling on Jesus’ name.)

I prayed and called out to Jesus, and for the rest of the day I was ‘Powered by God’.

I allowed him to come take over and as I invited God to help me overcome this day, I tackled more then I ever even imagined possible. Blessings came and rest rested me even while I was depleted of sleep.

I really felt like I was in a ‘Spiritual Realm’, I don’t know why other times when I lacked sleep that I’d try and do the day through my own ability, by pretty much throwing in the towel and giving up. But when I offered up my day great things aspired…

I suppose when ones not learning, ones not growing and when ones not growing ones not maturing. As I have learnt, grown and matured through my walk with God, I need to remember I will always be learning, growing and maturing still. He will allow us to grow as we mature and when He feels we are ready He will show us more, He will help us to uncover different abilities as we require them, need them and are able to handle them.

Ephesians 1:19-23 LNT. I pray that you will begin to understand how incredibly great His power is to help those who believe in Him. It is that same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in heaven. Far, far above any other King or ruler or dictator or leader. Yes, His honor is far more glorious than that of anyone else either in this world or in the world to come. And God has put all things under His feet and made Him the supreme Head of the church- Which is His body, filled with Himself, the Author and Giver of everything everywhere.

Heavenly Father, I pray for those having a tough time and lacking rest, that you will give them rest that you will provide their needs. I pray for those who are having an inability to function properly, that Lord you help them to have a clear mindset that no matter what their feeling you will help them to function. I pray and thank you Lord that you will provide all our needs all we have to do is ask, so Lord on the behave of others I ask Heavenly Father please be our guide. Lord I call upon you for our help in this lacking and ask you Lord for rest in us while we go about our day when we are lacking sleep, I ask for Holy Spirit to be our function and our guide, Lord I’m grateful for your love and the power you give us when we need to get through. All we have to do is call upon Jesus’ name thank you. Plead the Precious Blood of Jesus over all, In Jesus name, Amen.
