Plan B…

You want to make God laugh, make a plan…

By forcing a plan to come together and fighting tooth and nail for it, you fall into the enemy’s trap. I have been here and done this for years and years, and what a struggle and disappointment it was.

Even though I accepted Jesus into my life nearly 20 years ago I found myself still going my own way and doing selfishly invested desired accomplishments, not saying getting an education or a Journeyman Certificate is a bad thing but going for it for all the wrong reasons is. Not to mention, not the way to do anything in life, especially if it’s not God’s Will for you in the first place and you’re just trying to prove a point. This was me and my ‘Plan A’ wasted so much time and energy, fighting for things I thought I needed to do.

When I met Jesus I never put into actions for my life His example I was supposed to shadow, I spent time in the Word, prayed for people, went to Church (but didn’t really soak it all up) highlighted important scripture in my Bible but I never really absorbed it in into my being, I just went through the motions. ‘DO NOT DO THIS.’ We need to be accountable for our actions and shadow Jesus in such a way so others can see God’s light we are to others a beacon to God’s Eternity, that awaits all His people and we can’t be who we were truly created to be if we don’t stand out in their dark world as a lighthouse for a distant heart that’s been lost to the darkness of the worlds needs and wants for our own success, we are to light up so the path someone is stumbling on is lit by what Jesus coming into our life is all about. Yes, we can do things well and accomplish schooling diplomas and certificates of any sort but all this requires the gratitude of God because He has given us the abilities to do all things, but they must glorify Him.

After I realized my true ability to rest upon God and allow Him to be my leader, embracing ‘Plan B’ I gained my true purpose and calling on my life and you can too, when you include God in everything you do and Jesus is shadowed by you - His ultimate walk is our way to walk to. Remember we don’t have to prove anything to anybody, and God calls you in a special way to show His light through to others. What job are you doing that you can turn on the light to allow God to shine even more in your day to day? Instead of striving for another reward or accomplishing another certificate for your benefit that you are going about the wrong way so you can feel better about yourself, don’t, this can become a trap to set yourself up for disappointment time and time again. Instead go about it the right way, if that gain is going to glorify God further go for it.

Father God, I pray that there is an awakening in Your people’s hearts to find their true way and understanding where they belong, and that’s with You. I pray Lord, hearts are turned right and Your people have a realization that going about their life in their own way is wrong and that living an abundant life is only achieved with You. I pray their calling and purpose is revealed and glorifying you becomes and stays our number one accomplishment always. I pray that those who need to embrace ‘Plan B’ will openly allow You to lead them through and lean on You fully and completely trusting You in all that they do believing You are what’s right for all time. In Jesus name, Amen.
