Pillow Talk…

Are you stirring in the middle of the night or in the wee hours of the very early morning even before the birds wake up?

When I have been stirred up like this and I think my rest is more important, but it keeps happening, I have learned to lean in and ask the Lord and every time He has something more important than getting the ZZ’s in. The Lord will stir us up in this way because this is the best time we are not consumed with all the things we need to get done, we are not distracted, we are not busy and half present, when we position ourselves to sit with Him, He will unveil a promise to stand on for another person, He will point to scripture to meditate on, He will give clarity, He will confirm and answer, He will lead you and this time spent with Him in the quiet wee hours are special, beautiful, intimate and yours with Him.

‘Pillow Talk’ with the Lord is a time that brings you closer, He brings you to the secret place because we are fully available.

I truly believe this 2024 year is a year of reflection with our Lord to gain a closer connection with Heaven, understanding every part of the Trinity of God is important, and the fog on our lives will lift and we will have better clarity with our Lord and His Truth will reign because we partner with the Lords Will and walk in His way. So, when He nudges you in the wee hours don’t hesitate to move toward Him.

Our Lord always wants the best for us, we are not meant to live in fear, or shame, or sorrow, or any aliment we are to have a good life and have it to the full without lack, our lives are meant to be meaningful and we are to enjoy our lives. As we walk closer with God we begin to hear more clearly what He wants in our lives, we gain power from Him to do all the things Jesus did and more but we truly need to be humble, surrendering our own agendas and ta das per say and remove ourselves in a unique way to obey righteously because He can only make us righteous, us an open vessel we are interceders, gap fillers be available for Him, His purpose, His Will, His agenda, His magnificent glory, not ours. The glory of God falls upon us in the moments of being completely available for Him in a surrendered position, Mosses’ radiant glory glow of God was not Mosses’ doing the Lord reflected upon Mosses because of the open clear position Mosses was available to the Lord. When we are in tuned with our God and we pray over someone we can see God’s glory upon them when we are in the right position with God and we don’t claim the breakthrough as our own but truly know our God is the One who gives the breakthrough.

In closing ‘Pillow Talk’ is for every believer, its important its special, we all have life stuff happening and to do’s, to get done, schedules to keep etc. but remember those moments sitting with the Lord in the quiet stillness of the night or the wee hours of the morning before the sun breaks through the sky, God is in love with you and the time spent with Him this way shows reference and awe of Him deeply, you can focus clearly and no distractions will interrupt the beauty of His voice during this time. It’s an away place in His glory resting upon His hand and leaning in toward His peaceful tender embrace of you.

Daniel 2:21-23 He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes of them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells within him. I thank and praise you. O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of a king.    

Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

Psalm 119:135 Make your face shine upon your servant and teach me your decrees.

Lord, I pray all reflections in people’s lives are about You when we look back on our lives; we should only reflect on the good things the blessings the miracles answers to prayers, for we remember what happened to Lots’ wife she looked back and chaos was happening behind her she was warned not to look back but to focus on what was ahead - she became a pillar of salt. I truly believe looking back at disasters in our lives will only create more trauma more pain it will capture us into staying stuck in an abyss of chaos and take away from our lives, lets keep our gaze on Him. I pray Lord there will be a huge move of your people wanting a closer connection with Heaven because You reside there and being in Your secret meeting place, we can have radiant moments with You just like Mosses did. I pray for a deeper understanding for all of us, Lord, reveal to us more of You, help us to fill our needs with You. I pray when You nudge us in the wee hours, we get excited about Your ‘Pillow Talk’ meeting you in Your secret place. In Jesus name, Amen.
