Own It…

I yelled at God the other day…
I just let it all out, everything I was feeling inside, I released, some of you seeing it from a slight distance may have thought that was awful but there was truth behind the outburst. I was frustrated so I let God have it, not blaming God completely but because I know how He can move and show up in my life I know just how almighty He is and I wanted Him to reveal to me clarity in things that have been frustrating me and since I am an analyzer and researcher of truth this was what needed to be in this moment on that particular day to get clarification on my journey. I felt sorry after and prayed more. Later on, I had an answer from the Lord…when He has given us the gifts and abilities to glorify Him and His kingdom but we don’t use them or use them properly, we fall short usually due to fear.
Let me break it down like this, I have written 4ish books now and they’re still in the file saved on my laptop, sitting there… God has given me the gift of writing and I am afraid, scared, unsure about sharing them, out of fear I have stalled at the part where they get released for others. Honestly to glorify God and obey His command would be to finally publish a book. I have to do my part and get it together, be brave and trust God is not going to let me fall.
So ‘Own It’ step out of our comfort zone push past our fears and trust God to handle the rest, be grateful of whatever gift you have and use it for the encouragement and uplifting of others. I think the sooner we own up to the choices we make for ourselves in our lives the better we can grow, learn, and become stronger. If they have been mistake’s we have made own up to them realize it was a mistake and move on, through Gods Word in the scriptures there are so many promises there that can help us. Repent of the wrong and ask God to help you make it right and by His loving grace you’ll be forgiven completely so you can move on and do the very important purpose you were designed by God to do for Him and once you do, you’ll feel at ease in your life. As long as you don’t keep on with the bad choices, you’ll be okay. When the pull toward the bad choices come knocking on your door don’t open it push them away with Gods Word and know He knows the perfect direction you need to go, besides when you’re going good you are on the right track, and when your not you may still have some learning, growing and strengthening left to do. Remember we may not always get it right the first time but as long as we try and count on God and His Word to help us through, we are going to overcome.
Don’t be hard on yourself, be strong in believing in yourself that you can, God empowers us by the gift of the Holy Spirit so call upon His helper, what good is a gift if you don’t open it when you receive it or after you’ve opened it don’t use it.
‘Own It’ all, lay it all out to the Lord, in order for you to get free of the fear and begin to go strong in the ability He has given to you. A past is the past if you don’t allow it to keep pressing in on you. Mistakes are a wrong choice made, bad timing, stress or whatever it was that set you off to decide to make that mistake own it and move on, mistakes happen there is no excuse to pardon it only God can forgive you completely, but you can own it by repenting and not doing it anymore. While God gives good gifts to all His children use it wisely allow the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in you to get past the fear and soar into all that God has for your life.
God already knows all that’s on your mind or in your heart so when you have an outburst whatever you need to get off your chest belt it out be real with God so that someone you love won’t be standing in the cross fire of your frustration and become hurt by you.
Maybe this message is my own pep talk but I need encouraging to, so I guess when good advice is given you either take it or leave it, but when its Gods Word its truth and there should be no confusion, hold on to it and ‘Own It’.
Psalm 139:4 NLT. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.
Proverbs 27:17 NIV. As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Romans 11:36 NLT. For everything comes from him exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.
