One moment please…

Only for a moment such a time as this.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NIV. 1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: 2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

While things are going on around us remember God is in control. He is an amazing God we serve. We don’t need all the details all the time so we trust Him to carry us through, this scripture is encouraging to us because during a time of uncertainty we know it won’t last for in due time things change, pass, mend, build up again and peace will prevail.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

We need to take heart - God’s promise says in its time He makes everything beautiful. Let’s not worry, be afraid, have fear or we will make ourselves sick… its true when we ‘worry’ we can become ill. I never knew how to keep my emotions in check before, I’d make myself ill but through God’s Word I learned self-control and the more I learned about what God wanted for me through his Word I began to take control over my emotions and not let them run wild to create a stomach problem a headache or whatever. I was made whole by God’s hand and now I settle in with Him, as I trust in Him and hold tight to His promises like in the scripture in Ecclesiastes about a time for this and a time for that, in due time, this won’t last. We need to stay focused on God trusting He will carry us through because He will.

Heavenly Father God I trust that You will carry us through such a time as this. I pray You will help us to keep our eyes focused on You, strengthen us Lord to stay Your course. I believe and trust that many people will come to know You through this time Lord that they will realize they can and will find hope in You, for You are the only way. I pray Lord that people’s eyes are opened to see You in all this and that their heart ears are opened to hear and receive You in this time. I believe and trust Holy Spirit you can stir up the people to come to Know God, that God is the only way for healing, peace, deliverance and our true rescuer. Lord since You are the lover of our Soul’s I pray a softening in people’s hearts so they can come to know You and an awakening in those gone astray. Those searching cannot find hope unless they search for You, You, are the One they are looking for I thank You Lord for giving me Your words to lay down for Your people, thank You for Your love, in Jesus name, Amen.
