On the Cusp...

The light is at the end of the tunnel yet it seems there are still obstacles in the way and your hopes and dreams are fading into the background just when you thought they were going to become something, what do you do? Walk away? Keep going? Wait?

I truly believe our hopes and dreams are better off in the Lord’s hand so give them to Him so He can manifest whatever it is His plan is for your lives through that hope or dream, they make look a little different but trust Him He knows what is better. Since our Lord knows the beginning and the end, He is the best partner for our hopes and dreams to be created by.

I have hopes and dreams that have faded into the background and just when I think they are arriving they get pushed back again, so I understand the frustration of being patient in the waiting and seeing others advance and wondering why I am not. I can say with my whole heart it is better to trust the One who created you and me and don’t let what is not happening take away from your relationship with the Lord or others around you be patient, peaceful, and content in the waiting, praise and worship the One who loves you the most and has your best yet to come.

Pause – pray – patience – peace – perseverance – partner – passion.

Pause – Job 37:14 “Listen to this, Job; stop and consider God’s wonders.

Pray – 2 Chronicles 30:27 The priests and Levities stood to bless the people, and God heard them, their prayer reached heaven, his holy dwelling place.

Patience – Lamentations 3:24-26 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

Peace – Psalms 34:14 Turn form evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

Perseverance - Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, we are surrounded by such a cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Purpose – Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

Passion – Romans 12:11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual favor, serving the Lord.

Holy Father, thank You for having my best in mind, help my focus to stay on You always and remember that You hear our prayers. Help us all to have a deeper revere for You to know all You have for each of us is greater than we can ever dream think or imagine. Help our pause – pray – patience – peace – perseverance – partner – and passion with You be our desires always. In Jesus name, Amen.
