What does that even mean to become a new creation through Jesus?

Romans explains through the scriptures being a new creation this way…

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Key points:

- Still in a state of sin is every human being - Jesus died on the cross to gain a way into Heaven for each one of us, if we might accept His sacrifice and become free into the arms of God.

- Jesus reconciled us – by changing the law and bringing into harmony our hearts lining up with His as they do we begin to feel a sense a pull or nudging for something more, if we seek the wrong thing’ we will become lost and stay broken or even led for an unsatisfied head, heart, mind, body, soul and spirit.

Romans 5:11 Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

- We are meant for more than mediocracy and day to day. Created for purpose and that purpose is under the loving hand of our Lord, once we understand this acceptance we will soar on the wings of Eagles. Each one of us with a special assignment hand written by our Holy Father designed to bring joy and abundant glory to our Heaven Fathers Kingdom.

- New life through our sins’ death crucified with Jesus on the cross for good and being raised, renewed and resurrected by our Holy God completely new restored for the betterment of His kingdom and our new nature is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control through the strengthening of the Holy Spirit given as a gift to help us hold to the truths of our Lord. Holy Spirit being our guide, counsellor, vindicator we hold Jesus power that has come down from Heaven to help equips us on our forever journey, we need only to be sensitive to the promptings of His beautiful directions.

Galatians 5:22&23But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Romans 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

- Would it not be better to be a slave to God who’ll save your soul, than to be a slave to sin which destiny is hell and your soul will harbor pain the rest of eternity.

Romans 6:22 But know that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Knowing we have a choice and what they are should make it more, simple…right? Well, there are those in the world who have not yet been introduced to our Lord and have no idea His generosity, there are those who have met Him but have gone another direction after a falling out with a fellow believer and blame Christianity, while others are caught up in a bad game of roulette with their lives and feed themselves with substance and can’t find a way out. Each of these scenarios needs someone like you – you are a survivor from substance abuse and your walking proof of the Lords’ hand upon your life to help you heal and walk in another direction away from the wrong substance you thought your body needed and into the right direction of Who you needed. You are hope for that person. You are someone who was hurt in church and completely walked away from your relationship with the Lord, know its time for you to show another person that you can turn around right into the arms of your first love again with no remorse. You are hope for this person. Or maybe your hearts being pulled to share the good-news where they have not the opportunity to know the Savior. You are hope for these people.

We each have an agenda… talking the talk is one thing but are we walking the walk. Meaning you can speak to others all you want but if we are all not exampling Jesus where ever we go we might as well stay home…if you are tired and can’t seem to get it together stay home there is no use misusing the kingdom of God because you are not able to put one foot in front of the other instead give yourself over to the Lord so He can perfect your path. Know your limits and know your God is limitless but do not go out and about when you know your struggling yourself call a friend that’ll pray with you and encourage to help you rise above your stumble and into all God has for you.

Romans 7:19 For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do -this is keep on doing.

Line yourselves up to the ways of our Lord and this will break this bond over you, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, respond to the Holy Spirit whom searches all things, you cannot serve two masters. Once opening up your mind to Holy Spirit ways you’ll be able to choose what is right and follow in the ways of the Lord as you continually fill yourself up in the Lords Word and renew your minds daily, meditate on and like a stick of gum chew -chew, chew the Words of God for the betterment of your lives and slowly the sinful nature will slip away and free you’ll be, remember some of the right choices you’ll make will be very hard to do but I guarantee the more you refill with Gods truth the more you ease into the fruits of the spirit in such sweet ways. I never said self-control was easy, staying in peace was simple, joy was always a response, love was entering every trial, goodness was on the tips of our tongues, kindness was always available, or that patience trumped actions, faithfulness a hidden agenda, and gentleness the way we acted in a storm. But I am going to say the more we utilize these gifts the more we will utilize them in any moment a storm brews we will sense the guidance of Holy Spirit lay down our life yet again and take notice of our response we will be in a place of peace followed by joy grabbing our attention to patience in love while we are graced with kindness that seems to highlight the goodness we are encaptivated by then the wonder of faithfulness that truly with soft gentleness helps us land self-control to live by the Spirit we must keep instep with the Spirit.

In closing thoughts:

Romans 8:5&6 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in the accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Sprit desires. The mind of a sinful man is death but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.

Studying the bible is for gain; you learn how to deal in situations, you learn how to navigate what to do and how to do it every answer to every problem is written in the Word of God, for your benefit and blessing to live your life to the fullest and to bless others while you go through the motions of life, remember all you have been through you are a walking testimony for the Kingdom of God and made for such a time as this, you got this, grab your Heavenly Fathers hand and soar.

Holy Father, help us all to walk as you do, help us to example your nature and not our humanness. In struggle and I know we all struggle at times but help build strength in the areas of our lives where we fall short, help our fruits of the Spirit increase and be our first response to any and all situations, circumstances and trails. I want to be most like you and I pray your Saints want this to ignite in us a fresh pouring form Heaven Your Holy Spirit fruits, I thank You for this gift is Jesus precious and Holy name, I pray Amen.
