Miracles,
Big or small miracles are everywhere and every day we can either look past them or embrace them with acknowledgement of who gave them to us. Perhaps some may say that miracles, - I believe happen daily, - were just a sudden coincidence.
Coincidence: described as; accident, chance; a fluke.
Faith is where miracles begin we have to have Faith in the Lord in order for miracles to take place praying God’s will be done. When Jesus performed miracles it was God who brought forth the recovery for those needing a miracle and faith made miracles happen, faith in God.
Matthew 8:15 NIV He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him. - Through Jesus’ faith in the Lord, God healed her.
As Matthew 8:17 NIV says “This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.” - In Isaiah it talks about Jesus hanging on the cross as a symbol to sacrifice himself for all our needs. By God’s grace and mercy when a miracle is preformed it is by God’s will for it to be done.
My husband and I were struggling to have another baby after our beautiful daughter was born and after too many miscarriages to count, a doctor wrote us a prescription. Now I could have looked at the scripture reference she prescribed and tossed it out thinking are you kidding me or I could do what I decided to do with this piece of paper that potentially had no power and put it to use. This is where faith came in and believing our Heavenly Father is a good; loving, delivering and a redeeming God. Exodus 23:26 NIV says “ and none will miscarry or be barren in your land, I will give you a full life span.” We held onto this verse for dear life, and on our last and final try for our second child, God’s promise came through and our precious son was born, Amen to miracles from God.
Praying about the little things and knowing our Faith in the Lord will provide us with another miracle… My mom and law prays for a parking space and every time she is provided with one, some would say that was a coincidence, but we believe it’s a miracle, ‘God cares about big things and little things,’ ( my mom in law says this ).
Waking up every morning pure coincidence or miracle? I believe waking up every morning is pure miracle, it means God’s not done with you yet, and provides you with the gift of another day. Thank you! Lord, for another day.
So no matter what you’re hanging onto for God to answer He is love, your deliver, and He redeems. In your prayers for miracles try laying down what you ask for Him, allow Him to pick up your prayers and then you can place your faith in HIM. God’s will be done. Some things may be misunderstood and it’s not our place to understand and sometimes prayers unanswered are miracles of their own. Keep your heart open to God’s way the way He does things and trust He makes the best decisions for our lives, most answers we will not know this side of heaven and that’s okay, God is a good God and I can’t even imagine what God has to go through to answer our prayers.
Psalm 36:5 NIV Your love, O Lord, reaches the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.
Psalm 3:8 NIV From the Lord comes deliverance, May your blessing be on your people.
Job 19:25 NIV I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.
Psalm 118:24 NIV This is the day the Lord has made: let us rejoice and be glad in it.
