Mind Jargon…

I’ll just start by saying thank You Lord for the breath in my lungs, when my days seem lonely, I crawl upon Your lap and settle in among Your loving arms, my thoughts turn and focus on You this position then washes away my troubled ‘mind jargon’ that seems to cramp up Holy Spirits flow in my life. As I rest here, I begin to open up my heart and the proper room is made within me to hear from my Heavenly Father and truth is then spoken and as an outward response to voicing His perfect Word promises are made and Amens are led by Jesus’ authority and angels dance in awe of Him who sits on the throne of grace and pours blessings over His people every day.

How peaceful can a heart be caught up in day-to-day voices that are entangled with bossiness and rooted in nasty debris of negative words spoken to you either from early years or even now as they have settled in and made a comfortable home nesting in the depths of yourself. This may seem like a strange way to describe the way some old thoughts continue to stagger in ourselves but I am trying to paint a picture of how unsettling this can be when bad thoughts over run us and also how miss led, we can become and how we sometimes keep suppressing these thoughts and hope they will eventually go away or we ignore the patterns and allow them to keep storing they’re unwelcomed guests in the closet of our minds. Okay well this is what we are going to do…

1.  Take thoughts captive and declare – by speaking Gods promises over our lives.

2.  We are going to learn the truth, everyday – by reading Gods Word daily.      

3.  Put ourselves in a proper position – by surrounding ourselves in the Lord’s presence through fellowship with others, worship, and prayers.

Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. All that is not of God or lined up in His name must bow to the authority of Jesus because He defeated completely sin and death all power is His and nothing can stand against Him. So, we pray in His name and lay down the awful root that tries to bind us to bow to things of the enemy and it becomes captivated by our Lord and all those thoughts and lies bow to Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father that you can help our thoughts be true and pure.

Reading Gods Word should never seem like a chore – remember it is a love letter written to you His most prized possession and all those who came before you left you a beautiful map to help you navigate your life humbly. Renew your mind in His and He will direct Your steps. Romans 12:1&2 Therefore I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good and pleasing perfect will.

Fellowship with others can be church, a small group, or a bible study the reason this is important because being around those who are in the same atmosphere as you we encourage, uplift and support one another just by being in the same room agreeing about the same things and as a prisms light bounces from one reflected color to another when we come together much like a prism our lights reflection of the Lord in us bounces off one another and unify us all in a cool atmospheric way to represent the glory of God. (I thought it was a cool analogy…anyway 😊) Worship music playing, humming hymns, singing a new song all turns ourselves off and onto the Lord where we should be focused. Prayers are important because the Lord tells us to pray continually – always be in prayer with the Lord, He created us for His pleasure when we do what we are were created to do there is less room for any of the ‘mind jargon’ disturbance type stuff. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray continually. Psalm 30:4 Sing to the Lord, you saints of his; praise his holy name. Psalm 149:4 For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.

We can’t do this all on our own to train the brain we need consistency because once we reprogram our mind into the truth of God’s Word we must contend with our tongue – for we cannot tame the tongue, we’d need to be a robotic tool with an inscription that only spoke what was allowed to come out of our control panel, we would need to be erased and then started over without any foolish, negative, dirty, corrupted or miss used words or sentences at all ever spoken to us or us saying them ever, because once you have been exposed to something good or bad it stays in your mind and sometimes the bad things only resurface in your subconscious mind when your asleep and we have no control of your thoughts when they come or how they play out while we’re asleep that’s why we all need to be careful what we expose ourselves to, what we see and hear can be critical. Renewing our minds is difficult but the Lord is Almighty and He has no limitations to what He can do, if its his Will it’ll be done.  I have prayed for the Lord to remove some images that I could not seem to erase from my mind that were terrible and left me uneasy they scarred me and He removed them and healed my mind these images were taken captive and the Lord removed them completely thank You Jesus. If something is bothering you talk to God about it and pray it away, take your thoughts captive. God loves you and wants us all to live well, you can’t live well being in bondage of thoughts or visions that torment you daily or in the night.

Heavenly Father I am in awe of You, Your, love surrounds me thank You for allowing me to be in Your presence. I pray for freedom for Your Saints freedom in the mind Lord bless them as You have me and take away the pain that grips them in the night and the thoughts that overplay da-to-day I thank You Lord for Your merciful goodness that always overshadows the enemy, Jesus You are amazing. Saints remember who chose you who loved you first our Lords authority beat sin and death so take all thoughts captive and they have no choice but to be obedient and bow in Jesus’ name. I pray protection over all of our minds brand new babies I pray for the Lord’s barrier His hand to come against any and all things that are not of Him and since babies cannot protect themselves, I call You Lord send Your angels to encamp around them all through the world and protect their little precious innocent minds help us all Lord to stand in the gap for those who cannot stand in on the promises for themselves. In Jesus Holy and Mighty name, I pray, Amen.
