As the reflection of Jesus continues do you ever wonder, Why God chose Mary to carry His Son? Like really, God could of just created a baby, but I think it was more than that, God wanted a mother’s heart to show up in the creation of our Savior and wanted the emotions of a mother’s heart to be visible carried through to touch our hearts that touch His heart and allow us all to get the message across loud and clear. He loves us so very much that even what Mary had to go through was important enough through her pain during this time was on purpose for His purpose so that Jesus’ purpose could touch our hearts even deeper than they would of not having a mother’s heart of love and desperation for her child be seen, even a mother’s heart of attachment in love to be seen.
Chances are Mary was without sin and God needed a clean inside and out pure virgin to carry out this very special miracle. It truly is a miracle for Mary to be impregnated with our Savior and for God to share Him with all of us. He is understated around this time of year, let’s rise him up.
Pledged to be married to Joseph and before they came together, Mary was with child through the Holy Spirit. Joseph was waiting for the opportune time to dismiss or divorce Mary quietly as to not expose her publicly, but after his consideration an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream, the angles message was for him to not be afraid and to keep Mary because she was conceived by the Holy Spirit. “Mary will give birth to a Son and Joseph you are to name this child ‘Jesus’, because he will save his people from their sin”. When Joseph awoke he took Mary as his wife, their unity as husband and wife didn’t take place until after Jesus was born. (As to keep a covenant and fulfill this pure purpose as Holy and sacred).
Mary, wow! Need I say more, really what can one say about this special gift instilled in her to carry, wow! She birthed the Savior of the world, one that she would see grow and one she would see totally destroyed to save us all from our sins, thank you Mary for carrying out your honoring, blessed, sorrowing, grieving, purpose, Mary thank you, Mary needs more credit for her heart had to shatter and break hard for all of us, to birth our Messiah, what a special priceless (so precious the value cannot be determined) gift she was part of, words are hard to find with what Mary endured for our Savior to come, but she did it. Praise! The Lord she conquered her difficult walk with God and we are so very tenderly grateful. We would not be saved if Mary didn’t walk with God.
God wants our trust to be in Him so much that this purpose came through and God’s purposes will come through every time, He will never allow us to go life alone, all we need to do is lean on Him and believe Jesus going to the cross wasn’t for nothing. Mary’s plea for her son on the cross was a representation for us to drop in desperation to our knees at the cross of the Savior’s feet for our Lord to take from us our stuff we cannot do on our own, Mary could not do this alone, and God created Mary for His purpose and created us for His purpose so He will be there every time. Thank you! Lord, for our Savior.
The Shepherds and the Angels…
A Christmas story
(Did you know Christmas means= the annual Christian festival celebrating Christ’s birth).
Luke 2:4-20 NIV
4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard

and seen, which were just as they had been told.
