Gears…

A clock can and will keep time if it’s plugged in, has batteries, or that the gears inside are lined up properly and wound up to keep time.

Our inside needs to be plugged into our Lord, our battery is charged by Jesus and our gears lined up properly and wound right by Holy Spirit, no matter the order of these God is the Trinity – 3 in One. He is omnipresent – God is everywhere at any present time.

I feel the intimacy with our Lord is closer than we realize, actually I know. God is not far-away where we need to get a loud speaker, put bunny ears up and see if we can get a signal out to Him and hopefully, He hears us, no this is not our God at all. He is closer than a brother, He dwells on the inside of His people all who accept Jesus He gifts those with His Spirit what a blessing Jesus gave to us dying on the cross for all of us so we can be in constant connection with the Trinity of God always. We can be an example of Him because our gears are in proper order working together, each piece fitting inside the other like a well-oiled machine all the cogs of the clock entwined going in the right directions fitting together in unity and in balance.

Ever feel like your timing is off? Where’d that hour go? How’d I miss that deadline? Why didn’t I know about that? You are going through this too, or you’ve been through this before? I wasn’t chosen, why? All of these can possibly be that we aren’t close enough to God or we are in a fog and can’t seem to find the path we’re meant to be on but we’ve been on it and miss it. I’ve been here too, Jesus gave me His gift of the Holy Spirit and I seem to have fazed Him out, the time I needed to lean in His direction instead it was like I was running the other way, in the fog it was easy for me to just let go of His hand and do my own thing not knowing what was best for my life at the time anyway. Why do we do this? Especially when He is I Am. The answer is we allow our human Flesh to lead instead of Holy Spirit, when we have troubles, we need to run and jump into our Heavenly Fathers arms instead of thinking we know what, how, who, where and why are best for us we don’t only He does remember He’s the One and only One who is omniscient – all knowing.

Let’s get all of our cogs working in the right way so we can live a right life.

A cog is teeth around an edge that is used to turn another part and they run together. They move together in sync with one another when we can live this way with our Heavenly Father there is more of Him and less of us. More of God means we are filled by Him we are more like Him the way we should be and less of us means that as a well-oiled machine by Heavens outpouring our flesh desires are lower and our Spirit driven beauty of God is heightened, our gears are moving properly, smooth, and in balance.

In closing not all of our flesh is dissolved the closer we are with the Lord because yes we are still human but there is less of our flesh wanting to lead the more connected with our Heavenly Father we can overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimonies this is why God came down as a man to fulfill His purpose of setting every Soul free and this is why we are who we are, our part is meant to carry on what Jesus’ foundation rests on, every Soul is important to the Kingdom of God, each time there is a connection with another person it is unique because each person is made different and we are stronger together and better being a replica of Jesus than trying to do the best on our own we have stopping points but God is constant.

Heavenly Father, I am so grateful that You live on the inside of me that You are the direction my gears turn for You are my cog help us all to ask You for Your direction to notice You more clearly because You’re with each one of us. Lord I know better now when life gets heavy to run and leap into Your arms thank You for forgiving me and He will forgive you too, if you decided at some point in your life to do it your own way, He’s merciful and loving there’s no need for you to hold onto all of your mishaps, hand them over to the One who is strong enough to carry all of your things because honestly I’ve never been strong enough to handle my life’s bad stuff but so many times I tried, just hand it over to God, He always has You. Lord, I thank You this word runs deep to encourage those who need their gears re-shifted so they can run smoothly through life and not have to handle all things and for all to know You better, hear You more clearly because You, live within us, it’s so special to have You this close, thank You. In Jesus name, I pray Amen.

2 Corinthians 3:17 & 18 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
