Full throttle…

Lately I have been struggling with moments I spend with the Lord. Before this pandemic came about, I spent time with the Lord all day or whenever throughout my day, now, I seem to have to set aside time and block off sections in a schedule I don’t even get a say about, lol it's not even my schedule. (I just don’t believe God should be scheduled). But as I press in and keep looking to God in every single moment no matter if I have set aside a blocked out part in my day to just sit quietly with the Lord, or if I am treasuring every little moment I hear from the Lord here and there, I continue to pursue the Lord always.

Choosing to be partial with the Lord – is sinking sand, you will lack, fall short and miss a beautiful life God has already laid out for you, ‘I’m not saying God will love you any less, not at all, I’m saying I’ve been there done that, partially in with the Lord. I missed out.’

Psalm 62:6&7 NIV. 6 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress I will not be shaken. 7 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

Choosing to be full throttle with the Lord – is so rewarding, its amazing how much you grow and become brave, confident, gain courage to step out of your limits and open yourself up to be limitless with the Lord fully aware of who you are in Him and who it is that holds your hand. I have been stretched and have been opened up, I have let go and gained a beautiful peace, love came down and met me because I opened myself up to receive God’s Will for my life and yes my journey may have just begun but it has begun, I’m not partially available to what God has in store for my life I am full in and going full throttle.

Psalm 34:9 NIV. Fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing.

Would you partially make a cup of coffee, partially wash your hair, or partially make supper? No, you would not! During these times I have perfected my coffee even better than the specialty ones I’d treat myself to once and a while and pay way too much for, ‘there’s nothing partial about my coffee’, if I didn’t put conditioner in my hair it would be a mess, I let mine sit before I rinse it out even, ‘there’s nothing partial about washing my hair’, if we were to partially make supper it wouldn’t be cooked, I plan, prepare, and cook supper, ‘there’s nothing partial about making supper’. These daily tasks are not partially done, they are precisely made, precisely done – not partially.

So, why are we partial to the Lord, half on – half off, we make our coffee just right so let’s remember to be full throttle with God, no more allowing fear of the outside world to set in, lets fear God, I want you to know fearing God is the proper fear to have because to fear Him you’ll want to please only Him and to fear God is to obey and trust Him completely, nothing else will matter. God is creator of all and knit us together in our mother’s wombs so He has already laid out your whole life ahead of you, since God is in control why would we allow the fear of what’s going on in the world to prevail in our lives.

Revelation 3:16 NIV. So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot or cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. (Fear the Lord and get hot).

Out of love I say to you to fear the Lord, turn up the fire in your soul for the Lord and don’t be partially in your walk with the Lord, when we limit ourselves we get stuck, but when we are limited and open ourselves up have faith, trust and believe, God can make a way for our lives and bring us through anything.

Ephesians 3:20 NIV. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work in us.

Mercies are new every morning so don’t get discouraged rise up and look to God He will lead you in the right direction.

Luke 1:50 NIV. His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation.

Heavenly Father, I pray for the removal of limits we place on ourselves, I pray for Your people to be open and accepting of what You have in store for their lives, that You can walk us through anything no matter what we see in front of us. I pray Lord that You become our everything because fearing You keeps us on the right track and fearing You is good because You are Almighty and You prepare our way, even while You hold the stars in place in the nights sky, while turning the seasons and knitting us together in our mothers wombs You are still available to us anytime. As we look to You Lord bless those whose hope, trust, faith, and belief is in You. Heal our land Lord the way Your Will be done and help us walk through treacherous terrain if that is what we need to do to stay closely connected to You Lord. I thank You for Your mercies every morning and Your great love, I love You Lord help me to stay focused on You now and always, help increase my courage, help me to continue to be brave and help me to continually to grow for You Lord, in Jesus name, Amen.

Joshua 1:9 NIV. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
