Formulas…

I just started trying to make homemade haircare, skincare and homecare items and let me tell you I have learned ‘Oh so much’… Ingredients and what they do, how are they beneficial are they natural or synthetic derived, how to combine them, configure them (there’s much more than that – that goes into designing formulas than that…) and will they make a wonderful end result. I wonder……

In this post I want to encourage us to look at a formula that Jesus taught us, a map to our wellbeing.

He came and laid a foundation for ALL.

A: the right proportion – Combine the Precious Blood of Jesus with the word of our testimony.

We stay covered in the Blood of the Lamb, we are protected from the enemy, the only way the enemy gains anything from us is when we agree with his lies, we follow him into darkness, and or we hurt others.

1 John 4:4-5 MSG. Every God-born person conquers the world’s ways. The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith. The person who wins out over the world’s ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God.

Revelation 12:9-10 NIV. The great dragon was hurled down-that ancient serpent called the devil, or satan, who leads the whole world astray, he was hurled earth and his angels with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink form death.

We need to stand up and by the ‘Blood of the Lamb’ and our testimonial words, satan is defeated we need to cast off this persona to act a certain way of the world’s acceptance and act in truth, as conquers the authority is ours here and now.

B: Next add the fruits of the Spirit – Galatians 5:22-23 NIV. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is not law. Dwell in these so that they become first nature instead of second nature (where did that saying even come from “it’s like second nature”, hmmm). These attributes are definitely not an enemy characteristic be aware of knowing who you belong too and mimic good.

C: Add more peace – this is something the enemy knows nothing about, since he is prowling around looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 NIV Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Remember peace is where your feet are planted while you soak in the Word of ‘Abba’ our ultimate peace. Romans 16:20 NIV. The God of peace will soon crush satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

In the Kingdom of God there are many formulas this one is one that speak from my heart right now. Once you have combined Jesus’ Precious Blood, your testimony, Fruit of the Spirit, Gospel of Peace you are well on your way to wellness, wholeness, freedom.

Isaiah 43:7 NIV. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’ Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth-everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.

Isaiah 58:8 NIV. Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.

Heavenly Father, I am grateful for Your many formulations, I get to gain the secret keys into Your mystery, thank You. Your ways are the only way. Thank You for equipping me, clothing me in Your feathers, purifying me in Your Holy fire. I pray those who follow You, follow Your Truth, lead, by example to help others, help me to also stay Your course, I veer sometimes and I don’t want to, help strengthen me and keep me close to You, Your Will be done and not my own, I pray a protection over those who also have gained access to your secret keys knowing Your formula, help us all to share our testimonies to advance Your Kingdom, rain down Your peace so we can soak in it, Plead the Precious Blood over all in Jesus name, Amen.
