Have you fallen’ in love?
I have twice… like real true love.
I didn’t realize I was falling in loving in the wrong order though. You see before I met the Lord, I found love with ‘Prince Charming’ my husband, whom swept me off my feet, yes much like the fairy tale and yes, similar to the ‘Cinderella Story’. Meeting Jesus and my husband at the same time I didn’t realize my first love was Jesus, so falling in love in a way that was very different from any love I share or have with those around me: like my husband, kids, family and friends. This love with the One who first loved me makes my love for others around me sweeter and deeper because the Lord’s love is overflowing, constant, abundant, and unmeasurable we can love beyond our limits when we pair together with our Heavenly Father, we go further than we ever thought we could and when we do we love beyond our own capacity.
Its truly neat to line up with our Lord to partner with Him in love, I always find when I lack somewhere if I go to God, He fills me where I need to be filled, I hope you will do the same.
After 21 years I am still falling in love with my husband, my kids, my family, and friends, thank You Lord for continually pouring Your love upon me so I have an overflow to share and I can keep falling in love. When my ‘prince charming’ swept me off my feet I thought wow! is life great but when we fell on hard times 10 years in, I look back and truly would have rather fallen in love with the Lord first so I would have better been able to navigate through the tough times we would eventually go through in our marriage. As years passed, I realized I had my first love order mixed up, when we put our Lord first in our lives as our first love, we are handling our lives in the proper order in the proper perspective. My husband doesn’t know me the way God knows me, God knows all, every moment, every detail of my life, so what better hand to be guided by than the One, who knows me best.
Fall in love with the Lord so your life can be sweet. You can love beyond your own capacity and find out that even those who are hard to love you realize they need love too because your heart lines up with your Heavenly Fathers heart and the things that He cares about you start to care about and the people He loves you love. Eventually my husband became my Boaz my Kinsmen Redeemer, a much better love than a fairy tale love, Boaz was a rescuer, restorer and protector this is whom I needed in my life and the Lord knew it. I learned Jesus is our true ‘Kinsmen Redeemer’ meaning one who redeems the lost, a rescuer, restorer, and so much more, how sweet the Love of God restoring my life and placing me in a life where I’d be blessed abundantly with not only a Kinsmen Redeemer as a husband but ever more a Kinsmen Redeemer my Savior Jesus and Jesus is your Kinsmen Redeemer too, how special.
Lord, thank You for wanting me to come into close quarters with You, into intimacy that no other can replicate, being in Your presence is sweet and peaceful. I pray others meet You in Your sweetness, You, patiently wait for them to come and be graced in Your peace and when they arrive You greet us with Holy kisses. I pray we will want this time with You daily and we will rearrange our schedules around You, help us to do so. In Jesus name, Amen.
Ruth 4:14 The women said to Naomi: “Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a kinsmen-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel!”
Psalm 68:5 A Father to the fatherless, a defender of the widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

Beautiful said my friend! We all need to “fall in love” again and again
