Enemy of ‘Yourself’…

Do you? or have you?

Criticized, Ridiculed, Pressed-down, Condemned, Self-sabotaged, or Broke-down yourself.

Do not keep defeating yourself - allow your foundation of life to be built on the truth - what God says - not what comes out of your own thoughts because when we are in a healing season some things may come out misconstrued or wrong and then that's the rhythm you dance to day to day, dance day to day on the beat and rhythm of a firm foundation.

If so then STOP.

We need to renew our minds and stay focused on what’s above and who has us. We need to know and truly believe who we are and we are God’s.

God is able when were not so don’t go around hanging your head when He’s the one who created you and knows all your needs from the beginning of your time to the end of your time, when God knit you together in the womb He created you, picked you, claimed you and chose you as His very own ‘POSSESSION’ cool hey. So, when we call ourselves down, we are calling God down too, we are telling Him what’s right and we are not in any place to cast a throwback to the Lord and tell Him He never made us good enough. Because of Jesus’s sacrifice He cleared the way for our lives to be good He took all we have ever been through on the cross bore our sins and took lashes for our healing He wore all our hurts pains and abuse we ever got before we even got it on His pierced skin and as the crown upon His head dripped blood and His body mangled and stripped unrecognized as a man He did for you and me to clear a way for our lives to be free and gave us a place to cast all our awfulness onto Him to bear the weight of all our mistakes, and pain, so, lets not be led by the worlds ways of labeling when you struggle let’s look up Heavenly to ‘Our Salvation’ and put on dignity and grace for it was a gift paid for at the life of Jesus so we could live, accept it and move on.

God is perfect because God is Love, all understanding, and never failing, lets remember who we belong to a perfect loving almighty God – He created all before He made us because He loves and wanted to make sure everything was just right for His people.

Sometimes easier said then done, I know…believe me. I know. But when we stop and think what are the true and positive things God says about you and me – and maybe we should start there, for starters. I’d like to flip a switch…and if so, why can’t I. Consider the switch has now been flipped…

The sermon on Sunday was a hit, it took all I had to keep my composure and nearing the end it literally burst out of me and I needed the depths of my being to hear the Word spoken deep within, and in that moment of time even though I’ve already wrote about the same sermon and God has nudged me about the same stuff I keep putting it off, thinking again I got this, well truth of it is – I don’t got this. ‘GOD DOES’ if I let Him. So here it goes the switch has been flipped now what’s to come, I don’t have a clue but I know its going to be great, Why? Cause Gods word tells me it is and He has just the right plan for me and I am going to stick to the narrow, the wide road is too much and overwhelming to take in.

Peace be mine when my waves of life are a subtle steady stream, instead of a roaring ocean with rip curl gushes of rushing waves.

Here we go… I am Deciding, Claiming, Receiving, and Declaring over my own life the promised scriptures God has laid out for me to accept and I am going to ‘Trust Him and Believe Him’ that the wonderful life He has given me is wonderful and trusting Him is the only way to go for He will not drop me.

Psalm 138:7 NIV. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, your preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me.

Hebrews 11:40 NIV. God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

Ephesians 1:11 NIV. In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.

Ephesians 1:13&14 NIV. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, having believed you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession- to the praise of his glory.

Lord, I thank you for your promises and I am grateful that you have nudged me in the right direction, please forgive me for pausing and conflicting myself on the journey you have me on, help me to fully trust and believe in You and that the promises are mine to. Lord, help all of us have the ability to stop self-sabotaging Your plan for us, for Your plan is good and prosperous and your plan will not harm us. Lord I don’t really know what You have in store for me but I am Yours please forgive me of taking away the momentum when I feel things are becoming tough, strengthen me when I am unsure and anxiety begins to take over closing my throat and crushing my voice, bring me peace for I accept Your love and I know that You are God and I am Yours, thank you Lord for claiming us, in Jesus name, Amen.
