Are you being Holy Spirit educated or listening to what others say about the scriptures?
Allow God to teach you what he wants you to learn from the book of truth, I’m not saying learning from others is a bad thing, it really is great as well. But we also need to be close to our Father by allowing His education, His knowledge, and His wisdom to be poured into us. While we caress the pages of the good book and read verses and scripture God can fill us up and fulfill our emptiness. Our relationship can then grow intimately close with our Father our relationship can become deeper, stronger and true.
We need to know what God wants us to know. Spending time in the word is so good for your soul the deep inner parts of your hand crafted creation made by your Heavenly Father, the way to become completely fulfilled is the knowledge in the word.
Scripture is; empowerment, equipping, truth, guidance, worship, counsel, direction……..
When we come into the word of God we gain much, the ability to be better prepared for the day or even prepared for obstacles we may have to face along the journey of life. When we invite Holy Spirit to dwell in us we allow Holy Spirit freedom in us when we are in the word to speak to us and we will better hear the whispers when we quiet ourselves in the word of God and allow God’s will to be, asking Holy Spirit to speak.
Being Holy Spirit educated is your personal relationship with your King and it’s the best way to get to know your King, and purpose for your life.
I have read a verse in the bible over and over heard it preached and said again and again over and over in different ways and suddenly Holy Spirit was trying to tell me something prompting me to a verse and I’d read it and read it finally I asked, “Holy Spirit, What do you want me to learn?, What are you trying to show me?”. And the words magnified brightly on the page it was so cool, only when I asked to be shown and spent quiet time with God was I directed to what Holy Spirit was trying to say. Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. How many times have we heard this verse…and its written more times in the bible. The highlight Holy Spirit wanted me to see was ‘he will never leave you he will never forsake you’ that was huge for me during that part of my life when I just could not get over past pain, if it wasn’t for me getting into the word and becoming Holy Spirit educated I would of still been listening to someone else’s message and nodding my head up and down in their agreement but because I took time with my Heavenly Father to be Holy Spirit educated God spoke to me personally and I held on to scripture for breakthrough in my life.
The most cool thing about this is the more you become Holy Spirit educated the more God will bring things to the light for you. Another time I was in the word and God lifted scripture off the page, like seriously OFF the page, the words were coming towards me, it was amazing to see the words come alive, while I was intimately spending time alone with God He spoke to me. John 15:16 NIV You did not chose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. The underlined words became alive to me. Holy Spirit Educated.
2 Timothy 3:14-17 NIV But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it and how infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every day work.
Psalms 1:2&3 NIV But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
So, what is Holy Spirit teaching you?
