Duck on a pond…

A duck may simply be floating around on the surface of a pond but when you look underneath the water, you’ll see the duck’s feet going 90 miles per hour, okay that may be exaggerated but they’re moving and that is the point.

Ever get tired of sitting on the surface, all while underneath your going/moving 90 miles per hour…

The duck looks as though nothings going on - on the surface the duck is peaceful and calm and above water, the underneath parts are moving – keeping the duck afloat, both peace and warrior are present – peaceful because the duck is settled in their environment calm and warrior because underneath what you don’t see the duck is ready, already moving, can take flight at any moment can move around all while presently seeming as though nothing is happening. Even though on the surface a peaceful sight is seen, you can’t always tell what the underneath is accomplishing.

When we pray Jesus says to go to a secret place close the door and what the Father sees will be rewarded. Matthew 6:6 NIV. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Every prayer we pray is heard and God is always searching for open hearts to carry out His promises, while we may not be walking with Him in our physical human being, He is always with us walking with us walking in us – remember we have been given a beautiful gift of the Holy Spirit, lest not us forget.

On another note, as I was praying last night God brought to my attention Philippians 4:8 NIV. Finally, brothers whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. This scripture can pose a conceit for self-worth, but when read in NLT., it says Philippians 4:8 NLT. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing, fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. To me this writing takes another avenue fix your thoughts refocuses me to revert myself from looking in and look up.

Whatever you believe, you think is true and right but when you line it up with the Word of God and find out it contradicts God’s Word then the truth in what you thought wasn’t right. When I read this verse; I thought wow can we ever get things wrong if we don’t truly understand the meaning behind the Word, we can believe anything, doesn’t mean it’s right… Okay-okay, I’m on a rabbit trail, bear with me-what I am meaning to say here is that we can misinterpret God’s Word so easily – it can have double meaning…who are you reading the Word of God with? If the enemy can masquerade like an angel of light and knows God’s Word, he will also want us to interrupt it his way remember he is all lying and deceiving and if or when he can trip us up reading the Word of God, he plays dirty so he’ll go the lengths to give false meaning to God’s truth.

Double meaning – the enemy wants us to gain false teaching, which is a major downfall in our world today, be careful when reading God’s Word, when you are confused, misled, unsure ask the Lord to show you, find other versions to cross reference and you’ll gain a clear meaning. – God wants to give you wisdom and understanding, truth and love that’s missing in the world today, God’s Word is sharper than a double edged sword it can cut through bone and marrow meaning its used to the glory of God not our own, we are not to cut others down but to bring them up, because there are a lot of hurting people out there we need to love, by sharing our testimonies and by the blood of the lamb we are free, let’s join together and free the people…

Oh my… I have a lot of thoughts to get out and so many things to say…warnings and encouragement, relatable data from my own life story, hallelujah prayers answered and my life truly saved by the one and only.

Recap closing conclusion summary of what I was trying to say is while you may be a duck sitting on a pond the enemy has no idea that even though it may look like you are accomplishing nothing so many accomplishments are succeed on your behalf because you are doing what you were meant to do peacefully sitting in God’s presence while behind closed doors not bragging about what you are doing in the secret place, devoting time with the Lord praying for all the saints and those all around the world because your discerning heart ears are open and while you pray declaring God’s word out loud speaking God’s Word of life into existence remember Gods word has power don’t allow it to collect dust on a shelf for it has power to deflect the enemies plans.

What’s done in secret is rewarded and to be still and know that He is God is power and strength let God do and you stand in the gap, remember eventually when the duck takes fight moving to another location the duck soars flying high above, so soar high above closer to your heavenly Father while you let go soaking in His presence you soar, He will reveal wonders, visions, speak promises and give you a map to where He will want you to land next, just a duck sitting on a pond.
