Do it anyway…

Recently I had been tobogganing with my kiddos and managed to sprain my neck and suffer a concussion, since then I have been fighting headaches and migraines worse than I had suffered before, plus the weather going from -46 to +4 then -10 jumping all over the place doesn’t help either.
We all have things we suffer with and things that keep us from blessing others or having fun or just simply things we enjoy doing, but can’t because of a symptom or a something that stands in our way of totally feeling well to do the blessing or have the fun or just the simple thing we enjoy doing. Well I am here to say ‘Do it anyway’ – Why? Because when you are persevering forward you’re not then stuck in the symptom and brought down you go out a bless someone by a little visit and a blessing comes to you as well you end up forgetting all about your headache and end up uplifting someone else they may or may not have it worse than you but you take your symptom out of the equation for a moment and things are good – it’ renewing your mind and keeping your face up toward Heaven where the Lord then showers over you blessings also.
‘Do it anyway’ is great to getting your mind right not continually focusing on the things that hinder you but re-focuses you to remind yourself to think and love on someone else. Otherwise you sink in despair and the enemy wins – let’s face it if it is something that is good or positive, the enemy doesn’t want you to share…especially if it’s encouraging someone, blessing someone, praying for someone, or helping in some way, he’ll deflect you and try to re-position you back in the despair the symptom.
So, when you can press through and keep moving forward then pray stand on the promises God gives us and ‘Do It Anyway’. God will prompt you and its your obedience to go…the enemy will try and keep you from the good and push back keeping your focus on the symptom.
Romans 5:1-5 NIV. 1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God 2 through our Lord Jesus Christ through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
James 4:17 NLT. Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.
