Deeper Love…

Micah 6:8 NIV. He has showed you, O Man, what is good, and what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

This may be very bold but after seeing a ‘Christian Music Video’ and listening to the lyric in the song, in the depth of my being I was convicted (Song-Fear is a Liar https://youtu.be/e5LNfj2F5qI) it’s even hard to admit it in writing this post that I have a long way to go, in loving others in such a way. I was moved so deeply not only felt goose bumps all through my body but with tears in my eyes I immediately prayed after.

Prayer: Lord help me to love this much. God help me build up abundant love, help me to love others by seeing them the way You do, I can’t do this on my own, please help establish a merciful heart like Yours within me. In Jesus name, Amen.

The video was filmed in a prison and my heart just broke for the band being able to love that much and my heart lifted in awe when the inmates lifted their hands in praise and worship to the Lord brought me to tears. This moved me deeply and I have had this pop in and out of my Soul a few times but it is such a deep task of obedience and trust that God has been working in my heart in the depths of my being for a long time now and to have this come up to the surface I just know God’s reminding me again of how far I have come, through our walk together and how far we are to go IF I am willing and obedient.

I was convicted seeing this because to love and have mercy upon someone who in a worldly view has been sentenced to death for a crime they committed or to be imprisoned for a crime of any sort breaking the law in a worldly way, people will always be labeled as a criminal even after doing their time and don’t get given a second chance. But for the Lord all sin is wiped away and your made a new creation in Him, God gives you no label, so for me I want to be able to love the way God does and be more like Him, my prayer is declared and my heart is fully turned to committing to Him once again in an even more deeply way to become equipped enough and filled up enough with Gods unending love, mercy, grace, peace, ability, strength, courage, power, obedience, trust, and believing He will carry me through this because I am unable to stand on my own two feet in this particular journey. I can’t keep ignoring my heart and God’s Will for my life, I need to able to be strong and courageous in the Lord.

Maybe God is pointing you in a difficult or uncomfortable direction, God won’t push, He’ll keep prompting you and when He knows your ready it’ll become clear where you need to go, in the meantime He will equip you and never let you fall along the way, as long as you keep filling up with the Lord’s ‘Bread of Life’, pray and trust Him all the way.

2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV. And we who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with every increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

No matter what your walk looks like to other people remember it is your walk with the Lord not theirs. Others may try to talk you out of the things of God but remember God has made you for a specific purpose only you can do and other people God has made them for their specific purpose too. FOLLOW GOD.

In closing I’d just like to add. Things may get a little uncomfortable at times during our walks with the Lord but remember when we are uncomfortable we truly lean in on God to help us more then we do when we are in our comfort zone, God wants us to depend fully on Him so we don’t get caught up in our own ability and strength and forget we are here to share in the glory of God, stay the course be uncomfortable at times so God can be immaculately visible to others and those around you will know just how Almighty God is.

1 Thessalonians 2:4 NLT. For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.

I didn’t know why God led me back to study in Thessalonians again, but now I know. God likes to remind us of important matters, things that matter most to Him.

Heavenly Father God my heart is open and yearns for You to fill it the way You want it to flow. I’m stirred up again now more than ever on our walk together, please be clear in the direction You want me to go. Be by my side, go before me to prepare the path, securely guard behind me, on my right and left, cover me with Your protection. Help me through the desert if it is a desert You want me to go and if it’s a mountain help me climb, if I am to go through waters Lord be my raft. I am fully Yours and boldly I come to You and ask for the proper doors to be opened wide where You want me to walk through and that they be inviting with Your peace and Your presence so strong that I don’t miss the opportunities You set before me. I am not strong enough on my own I lean on You completely, guide and direct my feet, I aim to only please You. Help those who yearn for You, those who want to please You and do Your Will for Your glory. Help, them, guide them, protect them just as I prayed this prayer over my life, I pray this prayer over all followers for You Lord. Plead the Precious Blood of Jesus over all of us and our walk with You. In Jesus name, Amen.
