– God won’t push you past your limits, He will guide you through them. God wants us to be built up strong in His Word so that we are properly able to pursue all He has for us.
We are in a need to know kind of basis our world today wants all the information and the latest gossip about that so-called rumor or drama in or around someone else’s life. Well quite honestly sometimes its none of our business and other times we really don’t need to know – we want to know.
Walking with the Lord is completely different there is no gossip, rumors, or drama on a need to know basis, we are to take one step at a time and trust He’s leading us down the right path. God’s Word tells us He will lead us down the right path and I know this to be true for my life, God has led me to where I am today. God leads the way we need to follow.
I finally obeyed, trusted and listened, God was telling me to do these three things (not even in that specific order always) for a long time then writing took off, God has led me here and before I kept going down a rabbit trail of my own so to speak, but when I lean deeper into His Word it becomes my Bread of Life and as I take it all in…God lead’s me brick by brick, and I step…
Brick one… Obedience – being able to obey even when we don’t want to, knowing what the Word of God says is the truth, therefore, it is the map laid out for us to follow, for our lives.
Brick two… Trust – trusting God, is a major flaw we have today because it has been bent out of shape, and the word trust has been abused. We can trust God because He cannot lie, God has our best interests in mind always and when we trust Him great things in our lives happen.
Brick three… Listening – we must listen in to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, for this gift from God frees us up to continually make the right decisions and choices in our lives.
As you can see brick by brick God will lay a good and strong foundation for your life. He has for me and I am getting so excited as to what He has in store for me next.
On another note while we obey, trust, and listen we also need to be aware the enemy doesn’t want you doing anything for the Kingdom of God, so we must renew our minds constantly with God’s Holy truth. Ripping out fear, anxiety, and discouragement from the roots because they are nothing to us, we have God’s Almighty Strength and we don’t go about things without our proper tools God gives us, all we need to do is call on the name of Jesus because His name is above every other name and we are free in and through Him. The Holy Spirit dwells inside of us so we have all the equipment we need to fend off the enemy during our walk with the Lord, when the times come up that we feel ill-equipped or less than we need to remember we are full of power and we are more than because God is our never-failing help in times of trouble and we got all we need.
Let God lay your foundation brick by brick you’ll see, it’ll be the best walk you ever took, the best path you ever traveled, and the scenery God will show you along the way is outstanding and so beautiful. Step God’s way and you’ll see.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity that You’d lay a path set out special and specific for each one of us - brick by brick, I’m grateful You don’t overwhelm us with too much at once, help us to stay patient as You work out our life’s details in Your best interest. I thank You for the continual guiding of the Holy Spirit as our counsel and teacher, help us to always seek out Your Truth, Lord build up our trust in You deeply so we don’t go astray. Lord bless Your people and keep them safe in Jesus, name - Amen.
