Bloom where you are planted…
The time of year has arrived for buds to open, flowers to flourish and new growth to be known, the sun shines brighter and birds singing louder in a beautiful way it seems.
Let us dive deeper into the meaning of this message ‘blooming parts’:
First all things are given to you by God our Heavenly Father, so bless Him by being grateful and surrendering yourself back to Him and with that surrender – surrender too all He has given to you, all gifts are from above.
James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the Heavenly heights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Mind – cannot tame the tongue – James 3:7&8 All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and creatures of the sea are being tamed and have been tamed by man, but no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. Bloom your mind by renewing it in Him always and pray continually. Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray continually.
Body – new creation flesh dies – 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! Bloom your body by treating it well for it is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you brothers in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Proverbs 31:30& 31 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Gove her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
Soul - Eternal yearning – Bloom your Soul by Gods bread. Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes form the mouth of God.’”
Spirit - Holy Spirit - Spirit speaks to Spirit. Bloom your Spirit by talking Heaven’s language. 1 Corinthians 14:2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit. Romans 8:26&27 In the same way, our Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.
Heart – David known as the man after Gods own heart. Bloom your heart by praising like David. Psalm 80:14&15 Return to us, O God Almighty! Look down from Heaven and see! Watch over this vine, the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself. Psalm 90:1 Lord you have been our dwelling places throughout all generations.
Bloom where you are planted is where you example the Lord’s character well to those around you; in the city you live in, the community around you, the places you go and the places you don’t while you are at home where the Lord sees what is done in secret, are you the same out and about as you are in the closed doors of your house? The gifts He has instilled upon you that you are utilizing them for the Glory of God not for your own entertainment or enjoyment, they are yours as a gift from above to bless others and in return you will be blessed but the point is for the Kingdom of God.
Matthew 7:7-14 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if his son asks for bread will give him a stone? Or it he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you then though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums of the Law and the Prophets. Enter the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Lord, You are amazing and I praise you deeply. My heart yearns for You and I’m only slightly satisfied here without You as You open Your heart and I open mine to line it up with Yours help us all to give back what You have graciously given to us help us ignite Your Kingdom in new ways. I pray You will breathe into the dead parts of our lives and You will bless dead dreams for now is the time it’s Your Will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Help us all love deeper be stronger and braver for You Glory in Jesus name, Amen.
