Be mine…

The day of ‘love’ as people call it ‘Valentines Day’. Since I am right now writing a book on ‘true love’ I truly can’t help to think of all the love God has for all His people, it is unable to be measured, I believe God has so much love He can’t even contain it but He chooses to share. God is love-so that’s a lot. 1 John 4:8 NIV. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

You know out of the whole Bible beginning to end – Genesis – Revelation, God just wants to love us, and have us accept His love, to love others and embrace love. Being the most used and abused rudely taken out of context word ‘Love’, its spoken loosely to gain attention or to cover over something done wrong (Oh! But, I love you.) and that supposed to make things okay, nope try again God is love and He commands love, a command seems like a bad way to tell us to love but when God commands you know it is very important to do in the Kingdom of the Lord, the way it is represented in the world is opposite of God and it is supposed to be an action, the bible tells us not to love with words but actions. Doing acts of kindness for others, prayer for someone, paying it forward, leading them to Christ, encouraging one another. 1 John 3:18 NIV. Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

God wants us, He would not have created us otherwise and He wants to love through you to other people, it’s the only way His love is complete, and God’s love is perfect. 1 John 4:16-18 NIV. 16 So, we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 17 In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgement, because in this world we are like him. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

God expresses His love to us in so many ways: through sun sets and sun rises, the stars shining brightly in the nights sky, the ocean, mountains, forests and flowers, answered prayers, blessings, new births, becoming united as a married couple, or uniting 2 friends, restoring us, forgiving wrong doings, delivery from barriers, saving us through Jesus, His promised Word, the list goes on and on about the examples of love guide provides us with His Word so we know how to love.

Heavenly Father, God, I pray that there becomes awakening among Your people to love one another the way You do through actions, in order to do this Lord help us to see Your people the way You do, help us not to look on the outward appearance, God help us to see with Your eyes. I pray Lord that You clear out any darkness within us so we can have a free flow of pure love the way You meant it to be. Your Will be done Lord, Your Will be our Will, Plead the Precious Blood of Jesus over Your love Pour it in and through us, in Jesus name, Amen.
