A Leap of Faith…

You know, we can never truly live life the right way until we know who we are. In order to find out we need to realize who we belong to, who created us and for what are we are here for.

My son read this book from school the other day about a duck who wanted to sing like other birds. So, the duck left the nest to find himself. The duck then came across a beautiful singing bird and said how lovely you sing, the bird thanked him and the duck then said I would love to be able to sing like you do, but all I do is quack. The bird said let’s hear your song, so the duck quacked and the singing bird reassured him that he was singing and that quacking was his song. So, the duck returned home and found his song, he always had a song he just needed to be sure of it himself and accept his gift. This story is sad because the duck didn’t want to be who he was created to be, he wanted to be different.

How often do we find ourselves wanting to be someone else, or someone different? Just, because one sings one way doesn’t mean that’s the only way.

God made us all unique, God created us to bring our own selves to the table, He made each one of us special not the same, you can only do you, nobody else can. I know I have talked about this before but refreshing is good.

To find your rightful place in the Kingdom of God:

1st learn about your Heavenly Father spend time alone with Him in the Word. Things come into better perspective this way, you alone with God.

2nd pray and ask God to show you all your gifts and talents, all of your strengths. The things you are good at are your abilities to honor God in your calling and purpose.

3rd feel out the waters…Example: I thought I was to sing to glorify God so I sang. Over time doors closed and after praying God showed me that writing is one of my gifts, He has placed inside of me to write for His Glory. So, if you are good at drawing, draw for God’s glory – glorify Him in your artistry. Share through your art God’s promises, salvation, faithfulness and love.

4th you will know when you completely fall into the passion God created you to have, it’ll be all you’ll want to do and you’ll love and embrace each and every moment your doing what God called you to do.

Take a leap of faith with me and find your true self only God can lead you to the person He created you to be nobody else can it’s special between you and God, don’t let anyone lead you astray or tell you who you were meant to be, but only seek counsel from a fellow believer who God leads you to trust and they will pray over you to find your special calling on your life, they will encourage you and build you up in the Glory for the Lord, not for your own praise but for all praise belongs to God.

Lord I pray those who are wondering and seeking out their special call You have put on their life that You would make it clear to them what it is, what they are passionate about to glorify You. That the encouragement they seek is covered with the Precious Blood of Jesus, as they look to You and read Your Word the answers leap off the pages in their Bible and You bless them. Lord I thank You for my gift in writing, I am only the vessel You use to get Your thoughts out through me. I pray a blessing upon all who read the encouraging words from this blog that all is to honor and lift You up Lord for You are my Almighty - High King whom I love and praise Your Holy name, in Jesus name Amen.
