As I wrestle with my thoughts,
Running around in my head,
I wonder what to do,
Unsettled and distraught, I think of You.
Then I pray Lord, help me, keep me at peace,
I then untie myself from the worldly drawn ways.
I anchor to You, my living hope and strength,
I lift my eyes to the hills of Your glory and grace,
There I find refuge in Your presence.
In a gentle whisper, daughter You say, I love You,
Place Your hand in mine, and let’s walk together.
Comforted, still, restful, and soft,
I closely settle in with my Heavenly Fathers warmth.
I embrace our moment, every breath I take,
Ever more deeply, I nestle right in.
This I love most, being wrapped in Your arms,
Surrounded with Your love.
The breeze carries Your kisses,
Little children chase butterflies with their nets,
I chase your kisses just the same.
I love You Lord, I love You.
