Ever feel this way?
The odds are against you, you’re finding that obstacles are hitting you on the left side, the right side and everywhere in between.
Psalm 116:3-7 NIV. The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came upon me; I was overcome by trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the Lord: “O Lord, save me!” The Lord is gracious and righteous our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the simple hearted, when I was in great need, he saved me. Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.
Lately, I have been in this sort of predicament; facing loss - opened my mind into another thought process I have not encountered before, it seemed to awaken a part of me that sometimes would feel selfish or I was turned in toward myself and what I wanted to best suit me. Uncertain on how to navigate this eye-opening terrain of what my life should really look like and what ultimately makes me happy, I ask God, “What ‘Will’ You have me do?” Losing sight of the path He set before me prior to this obstacle of how precious life is and what is His Will for it, we have to remember during these obstacles, 'Who' to go to. SO, I said Lord “What Will You have me do, if I am supposed to be here in this place overcoming this obstacle let it be, and if I am supposed to move on to other plans You have for me let that be, but please Lord close the doors needing closing and open the doors needing to be opened.”
I have dreams and ambitions,
but they seem so far out of reach,
I had been isolated for so long,
but know I have appeared,
through the darkness I have prevailed with You by my side,
and through the storms weathered together with You I reside.
Help me Lord Jesus to stay your course.
Oh Lord my God be my verse,
in a song unwritten,
only You know the words in a song un-sang,
the melody is Yours.
I Your open vessel You will not lead my astray,
all my hope and all my trust, is in You please make the way,
I know the terrain I have been led through was rocky and tough but I know what lies ahead is not,
as I have been purified by Your Holy Fire Lord lead me and guide me as You have already done,
the’ Old brethren they have won,
now it is time to shine Lord, help me be one.
Psalm 18:3 NIV. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.
Zechariah 13:9 NIV. This third I will bring into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’
